I have been locked out
Somebody else in your household changed the password, and now you cannot get in. Only the email address on the account can undo that.
Too many attempts on this account just now. Wait a few minutes and try again — nothing has been changed.
Nothing has been sent. You need to confirm you understand that this deletes the information in the account.
If there is an account with that address, a link is on its way to it. It works once, within two hours. Nothing has changed yet.
Try these first — they keep your information
Ask whoever changed the password to tell you the new one. That is the only way back in that keeps what is in the account.
Or, if anyone is still signed in on a phone or tablet, they can download all of your data from My Account before anything else happens.
If you know the password and have only lost the mailbox, you do not need this page at all —sign in with your account number instead and nothing is lost.
What the link below does
It gives you the account back empty. Your information is encrypted with a key only the password can unlock, so once somebody has changed the password, nobody — not you, not our support team, not us — can open what is in there.
It also clears the change-password password, if your household had set one, so you can set your own afterwards.
